Harvest Monday

Yea for a colorful Harvest! A lot of this stuff, was picked just yesterday, there were actually 4 lemon cucumbers, but we had two for a dinner salad along with tomatoes. DE-LISH!!
It's been so hot, that I have not spent a lot of time out in the garden so a slicing cucumber and a piccolo squash accidentally got huge! Oops oh well! We are entering the phase of giving away squash and zucchini because we can't keep up!
I unfortunately have lost count on what has been harvested, partially because I have a wonderful husband that likes to help himself and doesn't write it down, he just yells from the kitchen, what he has harvested! Anyway, hope everyone is having a great Monday!

  1. Very nice harvest! I heard on the news Saturday morning you were hot! Who is going to water when you are gone? I watered the garden this weekend but did not have time to get out there and look around. Maybe tonight after work I can get out there. I know there are lots of peas to pick! I did not even know we had a zucchini so of course it was pretty big so I ground it up and put it in the dogs Salmon Patties.....which turned out well!

  2. Very nice harvest...it's hard to keep track of everything that comes out of the garden...especially when someone else does the cooking :)

  3. What a small world. I found you through the Harvest Monday linky - and then I read your profile. We live and garden - in Poulsbo Washington. :D I know you do not live there any more but I just thought I would mention it. You can check out my blog if you feel a little homesick for the cool maritime summers in the coastal pacific northwest. :D

  4. Very nice harvest!
My husband stays away from the garden, he only picks strawberries from time to time.

  5. Yum. I really like the little yellow squash. I might have to plant some next year.

  6. You just have the best variety of squash every week! They almost look like they've been painted on, they look so perfect. Do lemon cucumbers have a lemony taste, or are they just round like a lemon?

  7. Hahaha, I think that's everyone's husband. Mine doesn't write down the harvests either. He just shouts it to me on his way to the kitchen. Oh well.
