Aiden's First Party

Last weekend, my mom, Aiden and I headed across the water to Vashon Island to celebrate the Hampl-Newman boys first birthday. It was great fun and the boys are just as cute as can be. Here are few pictures from the party. Starting with Jack being a ham!

Bathtime!!!

When we first started bathing Aiden he hated it, and I mean HATED IT! Now, it could have been the sponge baths we gave due to his umbilical cord drying up, but nonetheless he hated them but now he LOVES them! As you can see he is all smiles!

Getting all dried off! He is even learning to enjoy the lotion, it has taken sometime to teach him lotion is not poison.

All dry, and a cloth fuzzi bunz diaper on! He is getting a little chubby too! That is not the normal changing table cover, but while Daddy was changing him, we had an accident. So a blanket works just as well!

Cutest Boy on the Planet

The last two days have been beautiful, so I decided baby Aiden needed to start learning how to wear a hat to keep the sun off his little face! Isn't he cute?

Daddy Day!

Poor Anthony had one of his wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, so Baby Aiden was in charge of taken care of him. Lets just say he did a great job. Aiden cuddled with Daddy pretty much all day, which let Mommy get tons done! I wish Anthony could stay home more often, I could take on the world for sure! Meanwhile, we will continue to work on sleeping in our own beds and regular naptimes. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

Garden Sprouts and My Sprout

So for all the seeds I planted, this is all I got in sprouts! UGH! I guess I will try and replant some more seeds I am not sure what the problem is or was. The seeds I am using are from last year so I don't think they could be bad already, but maybe. I need to replant these little seedlings since they are getting kind of leggy, maybe this weekend, when I have some extra hands to watch my little sprout! Speaking of my little sprout, here he is! I can't believe he will be 3 weeks old on Monday, yikes!

Isn't he cute? I sure think he is! Now if I could get him to sleep in his own bed, we would be in business!

Father, Son Time

We are having such a wonderful time getting to know our little boy. He changes so much from day to day! Today he was awake for the longest time while Anthony was home. So I offered to make lunch while Anthony held him. Here are some pictures I took after lunch of them spending some quality time before Anthony left for work!

First Outing

Since I am not allowed to drive for 2 weeks, I have been at the house! So today I decided to see if Anthony would take me to Target, as I needed some things from there, and then I had uploaded some pictures to costco.com and really wanted the prints. So off we went!
We made it, first to Target, Anthony and Baby Aiden stayed in the car while I ran in and got a few things, then we made a pit stop at Starbucks. The girls had been dying to see him, so we just stopped by for a minute. He was a very good little boy. Lastly we stopped at Costco and I ran in and got my prints.

Now we are home resting from our big day! By the way isn't the monkey suit adorable!!!

Happy 1 week Birthday!

I can't believe it has been a week already! Where did the time go...he is getting so big and SO SWEET! Luckily Anthony didn't have to work today so he got to spend the day with us and celebrate his birthday.
Here he is...1 week old! He loves to stretch out, but he spends a lot of the day snuggled up next to me! I don't want that to end!

Going Home

Since labor and delivery was so long and somewhat difficult ulitmately ending in a c-section the doctors decided to keep me all the way to Thursday morning. Let me tell you, I was ready to go home. No wonder everyone seems to get better after they leave the hospital, nurses are constently coming in to check on you, and the food is dreadful and let me just say communication in a hospital is not their strong point. Anyway, we were thrilled to be going home!
He was such a good little boy in the car, went right to sleep and slept until we got home.

Here he is in his room for the very first time. His room is finally complete!

Finally awake and doesn't seem to mind being all squished done in his carseat either!

We are so glad to be home. Baby Aiden is doing wonderfully at home, he sleeps anywhere from 2-3 hours at a time, eats like a good little boy and is happy when he is awake! Anthony and I love him very much and think he is the cutest thing on this planet!

Baby Aiden is HERE!!!

Baby Aiden Paul Cantor arrived March 14th, 2011 at 7:26pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 11oz and was 19 inches long. It was a long process, but worth every minute of it!

He has the cutest little face. For the first couple days he had a pretty bad cone head, but it is all better now!
