Anthony, my mom and I have been busy working on Baby Aiden's room. We are getting there but not quite, we still have to hang some stuff on the walls. Here is the first thing that was hung on the wall, besides the paint that went on the walls. Thanks mom, for the light switch!
This is the GIANT giraffe that my mom bought for Baby Aiden, isn't he cute? He is HUGE, and suprisingly enough the dogs weren't even afraid of him!
Inside the crib, sooooo cute! Anthony and I picked out the furniture, it had to be ordered, but I am glad it arrived so quickly.
This is a picture from the doorway of the whole room, the only thing you can't see is the second dresser. And yes, there are two bouncy chairs on the floor. My friend Thersea had twin boys about 8 months ago and luckily for me they have out grown them, so Baby Aiden gets to use them both!! Almost everything has been washed and put in its place. Now all we need is a BABY!
This is the dresser, changing table combination and the baby carseat. I am hoping to find something to hang on the wall above the dresser. The carseat and stroller are so cute and we have already installed the carseat base in my trailblazer and we need to buy another base for Anthony's new car. More on that later....
This is the right corner of the room, we are going to hang his name above the crib and maybe something else that we find along the way. Hope the giant giraffe doesn't freak Baby Aiden out!
So this is the beginning of Baby Aiden's Room. We had our 36 week ultrasound on Tuesday, and the Ultrasound Tech said Baby Aiden was PERFECT! Although I was a little freaked out by the fact that the computer said that our Baby already weighed 6 lbs 2 ounces!!! In next 4 weeks he should gain a half a pound a week, which means he will weigh over 8 pounds by his due date!! Yikes!!! I really hope that the computer was wrong. We are so excited to meet him and to begin our new adventure as parents.
Coming along.....reminds me we have to go to the window covering store this weekend! Don't let me forget! Need stuff on the walls!
ReplyDeleteOh boy...how exciting!! Is that one of those cribs that converts to a youth bed and then a regular bed? That's the type we got for my grandson and it is great!!
ReplyDeleteTake advantage of getting some regular sleep...that will all end soon :)
Really cute and I love the big giraffe.
