Corn Failure part 2

All may not be lost with my corn. It appears I am getting ears of corn, just not of the desired size. I had envisioned a full corn patch with stalks as tall as me and the stalks dripping in corn. Not so much! One of the stalks has an ear of corn on it and I did peel it open and there does appear to be corn on the cob. So we will see.

Also my beautiful tomatoes that were turning red, well I am down to ONE, THANKS TO THE BIRDS!! This is why I don't feed them and I let my dogs chase them out of the yard. If it happen again I will be force to put a net over my tomatoes or maybe scarecrow or something! GRRRRRR, I hate birds!

  1. Maybe if you fed the birds they wouldn't eat your veges! Try something that flutters in the wind....toy windmills, they make bird tape? or you might have to net them. Sorry, the birds never ate our veges just the bluberries!
