Anyway, I guess I will either have to start marigolds from seed or buy more! However, I am paying for these marigolds with HIS play money! Maybe that will teach him, probably not!

Seriously....you haven't learned not to leave men in charge! Sorry about the Marigolds they really are a cute, hardy little flower...except I did forget to tell you one small problem with them! Slugs love them! They will eat them to the ground if you don't protect them from slugs. But maybe you don't have slugs there, just Marigold eating dogs :)
ReplyDeleteDon't fire him too soon...you'll need him for the heavy duty work outside. Men never see things the way we see them...Chris sees all plants as weeds with flowers on them. I have learned to never leave him in charge of plants and watch them very carefully if they have a trimmer in hand...no plants left! Marigolds are easy to grow from seed, but they are so cheap make Anthony buy you some for Mother's Day (dogs are kind of like children) along with more flower plants for your garden.
ReplyDeleteBasket Gal is right....don't leave him in charge but use him to his potential. It must be a man thing about trimming....Jeff gets a big smile when I tell him he can prune something! He likes to cut but picking up the mess not so much!
