The ROARING 20's

So this coming Sunday we are headed to the Ritz to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of this Ritz being open. We are both super excited, while I had decided to dress up in one of my fancy dresses and go, Anthony had decided that we were going to actually dress up as if we were in the 1920's. So today we headed to a vintage shop to see what we could find. So this crazy lady (she actually looked like a heavier Susan Crittenden, Mom!!) at the shop convinced me to try on a bunch of flapper dresses. I settled on this pretty tight PURPLE flapper dress. It is actually quite cute on she also insisted on the BOA!! The boa is HUGE and completely awesome!

I am sorry the picture isn't better but the lightening in my house isn't the greatest. Next the crazy woman tried to get me to take these hideous shoes, I just couldn't do it. So Anthony and I headed to the mall in search of some shoes, I choose these.

Lastly, I had to find something to put in my hair. I LOVE, LOVE this!

That is all for me, and well then there is Anthony's ZOOT SUIT! Oh yes, and it happens to be brown with pin strips. I will post pictures when I pick it up on Saturday as it had to be shortened for my wonderful hubby! We are going to be fabulous!!!

On another note, I have convinced Anthony to run a 5K with me. While this is a small goal, we are going to set out to reach it together! So tomorrow Anthony is meeting me after work and we are going to go for a run! I will let you know how it goes!
