Promotion...

So while this promotion does not come with more money it does however, come with more responsibility, for (drum roll please)....Anthony!!! When I got home from work yesterday, he informed me that Bryon (the lead breakfast cook) was moving to Banquets and that he was going to take over the lead breakfast position. WOOHOO! I was very proud of him and then I got to thinking...5 days a week of waking up at 3am!! Yuck. He will now be in charge of the ordering and all the breakfast operations, to say the least, he is very excited. When we first moved here he didn't really like breakfast, but after asking him why like a million times I finally found out it was because of Bryon and his unwillingness to let Anthony change anything, whether it be for the better or otherwise. (Bryon was set in his ways, period!!!) It turns out that the breakfast scores are terrible (worst of all the food service in the hotel) and now it will all be on Anthony to make them better! Scary I know, but I know he can do it! We are both very excited for this new opportunity and hope and pray it all goes well. I am hoping that if Anthony can prove himself it will result in a raise! We will see. So far, Anthony has already come up with some ideas to make things better and Jaco (His boss) is very excited about them.

Tonight, American Idol, Biggest Loser, and the Cardinals game. Thank goodness for At&t's U-Verse where we can record up to 4 shows on one receiver. All for now! Fish for dinner with herbs from my garden! YUM!

  3. Surely this is no surprise. When will His Majesty become the President of the Company??? He can cook breakfast for me any time....in fact he did that once when he was just a student in this new "fancy" that has not much to do with dogs! Congratulations and love to my favorite people in St. Louis or elsewhere, love MsPatty
